Integrated Pest Management (IPM) combines biological, cultural, and mechanical methods to keep pest populations under control without harming the environment.


Vermicomposting (using earthworms to decompose organic waste) creates nutrient-rich fertilizer for crops.


Such methods reduce pollution, improve the health of farm workers, and offer safer, chemical-free food to consumers.

Farmers are the heart of sustainable agriculture. But for them to transition successfully, support from government and institutions is essential.

Training programs and workshops should be organized to teach sustainable methods.


Financial incentives and subsidies can encourage the adoption of drip irrigation, composting, and organic inputs.


Local communities should be involved in planning and executing sustainability programs.
